Kevin’s play Bets & Blue Notes was named Best New Play of the Year by the San Diego Union-Tribune and the San Diego Gay & Lesbian Times, after winning four awards at the California Fritz Blitz of New Plays. His play Companion Piece has been developed by the OnStage Playhouse, Fresh Ground Pepper, and Naked Angels. It was recently presented at the Last Frontier Theater Conference, and has been named a BushPick by the literary team at the Bush Theatre. Next Spring it will receive a reading by the North American Actors Association in London. His 10-minute play Breeders has received productions in Alaska, North Dakota, New York, and Los Angeles, and will be produced in Sydney in 2012.

 

His screenplays have received honors at the Los Angeles International Film Festival, Action on Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival, New York City Horror Film Festival, Washington D.C. International Horror Film Festival (runner-up for the DarkHart Screenplay Award), Shriekfest, MovieHatch, and the Creative World Awards. His script for Killer Granny (co-written with Taylor Jackson & Eric Lee) was a finalist at five international screenplay competitions and was produced in 2011 by Moonmosa Pictures and the Albert Mason Group.

Kevin lives in Long Island City, and his work has also been featured in Glamour Magazine, BushwickBK, and The Huffington Post.
